  • Anna Armstrong

    Anna Armstrong Support Specialist

    Anna Armstrong began her career at Ag Connections in April of 2010 as a part-time student worker. In June of 2011, Anna was promoted to FBP Operations Manager at the Farm By Phone office, which is located in the Western Kentucky Regional Business & Innovations Center on Murray State University’s campus. She oversees the Farm By Phone data entry sector of the company, and ensures that any concerns of the clientele are handled appropriately and timely. Anna also maintains the monthly billing process for all Farm By Phone growers.

    In addition to Farm By Phone, Anna also manages the transcription and data-entry for the developing Turf.db project. The project was piloted in 2010, where she worked closely with 15 Canadian golf courses. Having been a student worker during the first year of Turf.db, she was able to transition well in the supervision of the on-going project for the 2011 season.

    Anna graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Business with an emphasis in Marketing and Management in December of 2010. She immediately started pursuing a Master of Science in Agriculture and is expected to graduate in May of 2012.

    Anna’s agriculture background is centered around her family farm located in Princeton, KY where tobacco, corn and soybeans are produced. With her background in production agriculture and supplementing education, Anna brings with her a strong understanding of the agriculture industry.

  • Burnette Lowe

    Burnette Lowe Accounting

    Burnette Lowe began her career with Ag Connections in 2000 as a part-time employee. The company grew, and within a couple of years she was working full time. Her primary responsibility is to facilitate facilitating the Sales, Support and Development processes by keeping Ag Connections’ administrative clockwork running smoothly in the background. Her responsibilities include monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial information for budgets.  She performs monthly bank reconciliations of accounts, prepares and deposits gross receipts, generates quarterly sales tax returns, performs all billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.  She processes the payroll requirements and general ledger account reconciliation monthly. She also maintains the employee files, equipment inventory and company insurance.

    Burnette attended Murray State University and has taken selected courses throughout the years. She previously worked for Time Warner cable in management which has been a valuable asset with her job responsibilities at Ag Connections.

    Burnette has seen many positive changes with the company since she began working here. She says it is very rewarding to work for a company that is progressive in seeking a better and more productive way to provide state-of-the-art technology to our customers. Her biggest challenge: to ensure that all duties are completed in an accurate and timely basis.

  • Cory Gilbert

    Cory Gilbert Support Specialist

    Cory Gilbert began his career at Ag Connections in March of 2009 as a part-time student worker. Upon graduating from college, Cory moved to Hopkinsville and worked in the sales and finance industry. In August of 2011 Cory rejoined the Ag Connections team as a support specialist. In this position, Cory is responsible for handling client issues and concerns. His previous knowledge of Ag Connection’s products and services has made for an easy transition into the support role.
    Cory graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with an emphasis on Consumer Nutrition.  While at Murray State, Cory participated in numerous intramural sports, as well as being involved with the Student Nutrition Association.
    Cory has been around farming his whole life and has a broad understanding of agricultural practices varying from dairy farming operations to row cropping. These understandings help Cory relate to the Ag Connections customer base and recognize how important information management can be in agriculture.

  • Jeff Peake

    Jeff Peake Support Specialist

    Jeff Peake has been a Customer Support Specialist since joining Ag Connections in 2007. He is responsible for resolving client concerns and, due to that, handles a wide variety of issues. In addition to these day-today duties, Jeff is responsible for various projects ranging from managing relationships with large corporate accounts to implementation of the AgriEdge program. He also works extensively with Ag Connections’ Customer Relationship Management system.

    Jeff graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Computer Information Systems emphasis. While at the University of Louisville, Jeff was named the Outstanding Graduate in Computer Information Systems. Jeff completed his Master of Business Administration from Murray State University in 2010.

    Having grown up on his family’s farm in central Kentucky, Jeff has a wide variety of agriculture experiences, ranging from livestock care to crop management. Jeff also has previous experience with the traceability aspect of agriculture, having played a key role in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation at a food manufacturer.

  • Joe Ben Bogle

    Joe Ben Bogle Support Specialist

    Joe Ben Bogle has been a part of the Ag Connections team since 2004. He currently supervises the Client Support Department, the Land.db Reports Team, and the Farm By Phone staff.  Joe Ben also manages company communications. As Support Manager, Joe Ben has implemented a Customer Relationship Management system and a Remote Support system, which have been key components in developing customer analytics and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.

    Joe Ben graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness (‘03) and a Master of Business Administration (‘04). While at Murray State, he was a Presidential Scholar, a graduate of the Honors Program, a Study Abroad participant, and Outstanding Senior in Agribusiness. Prior to college, he was involved in his family’s farming operation, and was responsible for several aspects of its day-to-day operation as well as his own side ventures.

    Since joining Ag Connections, Joe Ben has had the privilege of supporting many premier growers across several market segments. The increasing need for information management in Agriculture continues to provide him with new challenges and opportunities.

  • John Galloway

    John Galloway Support Specialist

    John Galloway has been a Customer Support Specialist at Ag Connections since joining the company in 2008. He is responsible for handling client support concerns including, but not limited to, the Land.db software suite.

    John has several years’ experience in Software and Technical Support, having worked for the Help Desk at Murray State University, where he was responsible for a large client base of students, faculty and staff. He has experience with computer hardware repair and supporting Microsoft Windows, Mac OSX, as well as various RedHat and Debian Linux Distributions. John is currently pursuing a degree in the field of Engineering Physics with a minor in Mathematics at Murray State University.

  • Kody Myers

    Kody Myers Support Specialist

    Kody Myers originally joined the Ag Connections team in October 2009 as a Customer Support Specialist, where he assisted users with a wide range of technical problems and questions. After spending nearly two years building a fundamental understanding of the many challenges that users face when interacting with modern agricultural software, Kody transitioned to a software development capacity where he now draws upon his experiences from the support team to help improve usability and further solidify the position of Ag Connections as a leader in agricultural information management.
    Kody has been continuously developing and refining his technical expertise since he dove into the inner workings of his first personal computer in his early teens. He has been given the opportunity to exercise his skills in a variety of ways for several organizations throughout his career. Before joining Ag Connections, Kody most recently served as a Field Service Technician for NCR Corporation, where he installed and repaired point-of-sale register systems for retailers such as Wal-Mart and Lowe’s Home Improvement. He also configured and maintained ATM cash dispensers and bank teller terminals for various financial institutions.
    Kody maintains that a commitment to lifelong learning, refinement, and adaptation must be paramount for any individual or organization to succeed. To that end, Kody focuses his research in the areas of data collection, statistical analysis, distributed systems, and user behavior with the belief that advancements in these fields can be adopted by our industry in exciting and beneficial ways.

  • Ross Hunt

    Ross Hunt Support Specialist

    Ross Hunt has been a Customer Support Specialist at Ag Connections since June of 2010. He is responsible supporting the Ag Connections software suite along with providing general hardware and software service for clients.

    Ross graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Telecommunications Systems Management (TSM, 2010), with two specialized areas in Wireless Technologies and Security as well as a background in Business Administration and Business Management. He has several years’ experience in Software and Technical Support and through this has gained extensive knowledge of Microsoft Products, Mac OSX, and several Linux distributions.

  • Stacey Arnett

    Stacey Arnett Support Specialist

    Stacey Arnett has been a key member of the Ag Connections team since October 2006. As a member of the Support Team, she helps coordinate logistics at Ag Connections, including shipping and receiving, helping customers, and managing the customer database.  Few employees can claim to be in greater contact with Ag Connections’ customers and affiliates on a daily basis than her.  In addition to her support duties she is also responsible for managing all of the customer contracts and software licensing. She also helps in billing of license fees and computer payments.

    Stacey graduated from Murray State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Systems Technology. Having grown up a few miles from Ag Connections, Stacey is familiar with the area and is happy to work so close to her roots. She lived on a family farm that produced tobacco, soybeans, corn and wheat. Her experiences in the agricultural lifestyle help her relate to the Ag Connections customer base.

  • Stephanie Steele

    Stephanie Steele Support Specialist

    Stephanie joined the Ag Connections support team in July of 2011. She is entrusted with providing trustworthy advice on the use of Ag Connections’ products to its widespread customer base.

    Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Economics with an emphasis in Marketing/Management and a minor in Finance. While at Murray State, Stephanie played intramural sports and was on the Residential College Council which included being the Executive Board Treasurer for White College.

    Stephanie grew up around agriculture and has been involved in various aspects of farming, whether it was working with cattle on her family’s farm or simply riding the combine with her grandfather on his farm. She also brings agricultural experience from numerous 4-H and FFA activities. Stephanie’s husband is a tobacco and row crop farmer in Calloway County, KY. Her experience in agriculture helps her relate to Ag Connections’ customers.
