Stacey Arnett - Office Manager

Stacey Arnett has been a key member of the Ag Connections team since October 2006. As a member of the Support Team, she helps coordinate logistics at Ag Connections, including shipping and receiving, helping customers, and managing the customer database. Few employees can claim to be in greater contact with Ag Connections’ customers and affiliates on a daily basis than her. In addition to her support duties she is also responsible for managing all of the customer contracts and software licensing. She also helps in billing of license fees and computer payments.

Stacey graduated from Murray State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Systems Technology. Having grown up a few miles from Ag Connections, Stacey is familiar with the area and is happy to work so close to her roots. She lived on a family farm that produced tobacco, soybeans, corn and wheat. Her experiences in the agricultural lifestyle help her relate to the Ag Connections customer base.

Barry Cooper - System Administrator

Barry has been with Ag Connections since December 2007. He graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Systems Management with a special emphasis on system administration and network security. He’s experienced with many types of server hardware and software configurations, mostly focusing on Microsoft Windows platforms, but these days he’s utilizing his extensive background designing systems running Linux.

Specializing in diagnostics and repair on both desktops and servers, Barry frequently assists the support staff with technical issues arising both inside and outside the office. He works with Paul Pitt to maintain the networks and servers that support Ag Connections’ staff and users of Ag Connections services and software. He enjoys solving the complex issues that can arise in a networked environment as well as finding new ways to accomplish technical feats whether it’s through researching a new hardware or software product, or creating his own software solutions using his computer science background from Murray State.

Burnette Lowe - Accounting

Burnette Lowe began her career with Ag Connections in 2000. Her responsibilities include monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial information for budgets. She performs monthly bank reconciliations of accounts, prepares and deposits gross receipts, generates quarterly sales tax returns, performs all billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. She processes the payroll requirements and general ledger account reconciliation monthly. She also maintains the employee files, equipment inventory and company insurance.

Burnette attended Murray State University and has taken selected courses throughout the years. She previously worked for Time Warner Cable in management which has been a valuable asset with her job responsibilities at Ag Connections.

Paul Pitt - System Administrator

Paul Pitt has been with Ag Connections since December 2007. He is a Murray State University graduate, with a Bachelor in Sciences in Telecommunications Systems Management (TSM) While in school he spent a good deal of time researching network/system security which were later were written into labs for students as part of the security focus in the TSM curriculum in Murray State University.

Paul has an extensive knowledge and experience in Linux, BASH and PERL scripting, nagios modules, Windows server administration, system security.

At Ag Connections Paul maintains network integrity, deploys and maintains servers across the company's network. He successfully tackles the challenges presented to him on a daily basis while squeezing as many resources as possible when performing his job.

Stephanie Steele - Support Specialist

Stephanie joined the Ag Connections support team in July of 2011. She enjoys working with growers daily, analyzing data for the AgriEdge offer, and assisting in financial responsibilities for the company.

Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Economics (2010) and a Master of Business Administration (2014). While at Murray State she was a Coca Cola Scholar, Residential College Council Treasurer, and involved in intramural sports. Since graduating, Stephanie has been an adjunct lecturer in the Hutson School of Ag.

Stephanie grew up around agriculture and has been involved in various aspects of farming her entire life. She grew up working with cattle on her family's farm and riding the combine with her grandfather on his farm. Stephanie's husband is a tobacco and row crop farmer. They have also started a small sweet corn business for their daughter's college fund. Stephanie is a proud alumnus of 4-H and FFA and volunteers to help the local chapters frequently. Her experience in agriculture helps her relate to Ag Connections' customers.
