Jan Chesnutt - Roadmap / Support

Jan Chesnutt is the Development Support Specialist on the Road Map Team and has been with Ag Connections since 2014. Jan is responsible for testing changes made to all platforms. Jan also oversees many of our systems integrations for our growers to communicate with food processors.

Jan has a background in both software development and citrus production that spans over 30 years. Jan used Land.db for 5 years in citrus production for the family business that worked 5,000 acres in Florida. Jan and her husband worked side-by-side for many years and owned a citrus grove for over 20 years.

Jan had several years' experience with agricultural audits both in production and in food safety. Jan has worked one-on-one with many of our growers for GAP and Global GAP requirements to help our development team understand the needs of our growers.

Shea Forrester - Development Lead

Shea Forrester is a software engineer, and has been with the company since 2004. Shea is responsible for report development, the software installation process, and the implementation of financial software integration.

Shea has had the opportunity to fill a number of roles for Ag Connections over the years, ranging from Customer Support and Sales, all the way to Development. He also has a background in agriculture, growing up on a tobacco farm. This has helped him relate to the needs of our customers, and thus develop software that closely meets their expectations.

Shea graduated from Murray State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Computer Information Systems.

John Galloway - Roadmap / Support

John Galloway has been a Customer Support Specialist at Ag Connections since joining the company in 2008. He is responsible for handling client support concerns including, but not limited to, the Land.db software suite.

John has several years’ experience in Software and Technical Support, having worked for the Help Desk at Murray State University, where he was responsible for a large client base of students, faculty and staff. He has experience with computer hardware repair and supporting Microsoft Windows, Mac OSX, as well as various RedHat and Debian Linux Distributions. John is currently pursuing a degree in the field of Engineering Physics with a minor in Mathematics at Murray State University.

Andrew Gullixson - Roadmap / Support

Andrew Gullixson has been a part of the Ag Connections team since December 2005. He is currently the QA Manager. He is a certified ISTQB tester and his testing knowledge helps him to provide technical support for Ag Connections staff over the entire product line.

Andrew graduated from the University of Texas-Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance (1997) and later earned a Master of Business Administration from Murray State University (2003).

Andrew’s previous work experience includes 8 years in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Desert Storm in 1991. While in the Army, he supervised an Attack Helicopter Mechanical Team of 10 and received numerous commendations. Prior to his service in the Army, Gullixson was the CFO for Isocom, an international electronics company, where he was responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance for 10 years.

John Hughes - Roadmap / Support

John Hughes began his career with Ag Connections in the summer of 2012 as a Support Specialist. He transitioned into a role in Roadmap in the fall of 2012. In the spring of 2015 John began working as a Second Tier Support Specialist while continuing some functions of the Quality Assurance role. As a Second Tier Support Specialist John assists growers with issues that involve a thorough examination of any pertinent data points and their correlation to the software's function.

John has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration, however he spent a great deal of time working on a Telecommunications Systems Management degree at Murray State University. Before working for Ag Connections John worked for Mid-Continent University in the Financial Aid department. Prior to that he had experience working for Connected Nation on their wireless research initiatives and special projects.
